Reality: Conceptions

Image
Shadow of porcelain tower on the checkered surface as it changes the colour of the board: A simple result of human perception, as the colour does not exist in reality.      The brain, especially the human brain, is a deep, mystical puzzle. Even with today's technology,  aspects of the human brain uncovered every day seem to amaze scientists and science in general.  The Human brain is like a Rubik's cube with different sides as functional parts of the brain. Sight, Sound, and perception are all parts of that Rubik's cube that amaze science to this day. First of all, sight is truly an amazing human brain function. Though one might argue that sight is a result of human eyes, it is the human brain that translates what the eyes perceive. Sight from the eyes is converted to common "brain currency" in the form of electrochemical impulses. These impulses then travel millions of neurons in the brain and make synaptic connections to make sense of sight and store ...

Speed: "In Depth"

Speed  has to do with how much energy you put into it and the resistance that acts against  it  whether that resistance is air or  water. The  concept  as  explained in the  documentary  is a paper plane. When one blows on the plane, the air underneath the plane is the one that lifts the plane  up  as it creates more pressure than the wind blowing on top of the curve. In terms of the sailboat, the wind  actually  drags  sailboat  forward. A traditional sailboat absorbs much of the wind resistance, rigid  carbon fibre wings,  on the other hand, deflect this wind resistance works pretty much the same way as the paper airplane. The  airfoil  beneath the sailboat allows water to flow faster through it than the rest of the boat  which  lifts the boat out of the water  reducing  resistance to energy. According to  a research  done on...

Driver Safety

Since the early 20th century, when  automobiles were invented, there have been millions of road accidents claiming millions of lives and millions of dollars from vehicle collision damage . Many of these accidents require the vehicles  to be  trashed in the junkyard for parts. Some accidents are lucky enough to have minimal collision damage to vehicles that may be repaired and placed for resale in car showrooms.  However, the prices of these vehicles  depreciate  even before the  relisting of   the   vehicles .  The buyer may also end up paying high insurance premiums and maintenance based on the make, model, mileage, and conditions of these vehicles. Manufacturers may be the least to blame for unfortunate circumstances that lead to most major accidents. No safety feature or material  in the world  will stop metal and glass from penetrating the bare human body. Even Kevlar  vests  are only ef...
